The French Funk King is back with a really big EP. The high acclaimed first single and the best funk soul tune of the year ‘’The Best Is Yet To Come’’ arrived with a large variety of remixes. The B-Boys Mix, well a re-edit basically, makes already a lot of buzz around, based on the break and the real seventies vibe of the track became a top funk floor instrumental weapon. BoastFull remix is a magic mellow rework that could be easily be seaside soundtrack, reminds me the vibes from Free Zone compilations. Lemy Leopard remix goes house, well I feel techno, the Detroit techno that I like with a lot of soul and jazz inside. Radek’s one is keeping the wicked funk but offers a slow mo point of view on the original and last Taggy Matcher Mix goes to sunshine reggae as perfectly went on Hawa’s ‘’My Little Green Box’’ earlier this year.
