CPT 390 Future Sounds Of Jazz Vol.12 (Compost Records/DE)

Jazz is the teacher and Michael Reinboth our teacher, our future. I feel really great to keep hold of the last volume of ‘’Future Sound Of Jazz’’ compilation in my hands. First of all it is a part of the pure Compost Records since the beginning, secondly sounds closer to the begging, sounds more jazz and at last Volume 12 is here to represent the future, the future that sounds like those years when jazz melted into the experiments electronic music. The whole result is excellent and this time so homogeneous. Underground dance names are offering a jazz fusion, afro cosmic meets original African instruments, Jazz basslines are around, dubstep is sounding so chill and all connected so perfectly together. I feel that my that fave track is Simon’s Weiss "Monty Collective ABC’’. I like a lot Basti Grub & Mike Trend "Afrika Am Strand’’, Anchorsong "Plum Rain’’, Deep Space Orchestra "Sir Shina’’, Letherette ‘’In July Focus’’, well forget it… It is useless to name my fave tracks… The whole compilation is outstanding…In the end I have to mention that I’m impressed by the Plastic ‘’La Mediana’’ Dream of Santos. - Dj Nova, Nova Planet Radio Show
