Reworks. Το φεστιβάλ που προσκαλεί τους πρωτοπόρους καλλιτέχνες της ηλεκτρονικής κουλτούρας, αναδεικνύει τα ανερχόμενα ταλέντα της εγχώριας  μουσικής σκηνής και ακολουθεί τα trends της εποχής, είναι εδώ. Έπειτα από επτά χρόνια σταθερής πορείας, καθιστώντας την Θεσσαλονίκη σημείο συνάντησης των φίλων της μουσικής από όλη την χώρα και το εξωτερικό και με φετινές παρουσιάσεις σε Λονδίνο, Βερολίνο, Λυών, Κολωνία, Σκόπια και Αθήνα, η 8^η έκδοση του Διεθνούς Μουσικού Φεστιβάλ Reworks, θα πραγματοποιηθεί από τις 21 έως τις 23 Σεπτεμβρίου, στη Θεσσαλονίκη.

Μια μουσική γιορτή για όλους που προσδοκά και φέτος να δώσει χαμόγελο και χαρά στο κοινό. Για πρώτη φορά το φεστιβάλ επεκτείνεται από δύο σε τρεις ημέρες, φιλοξενώντας εκτός από την μουσική και ομιλίες – εργαστήρια με θέμα την μουσική. Επίσης, για πρώτη φορά το Reworks θα λάβει χώρα σε περισσότερους από έναν χώρους, εντάσσοντας ακόμη μεγαλύτερο κομμάτι της πόλης μέσα σε αυτή την γιορτή.   

Με την οικονομική κρίση να “χτυπά” και τον πολιτισμό, το Reworks συνεχίζει να είναι παρών και να αποτελεί το μοναδικό μουσικό γεγονός που διατηρεί την Θεσσαλονίκη στον παγκόσμιο μουσικό χάρτη, με συνέπεια, βραβεύσεις και συνεχείς παρουσιάσεις όλα αυτά τα χρόνια. Το Reworks είναι το μοναδικό Ελληνικό φεστιβάλ το οποίο βραβεύεται σταθερά εδώ και πέντε χρόνια στα δέκα καλύτερα φεστιβάλ του κόσμου για τον μήνα Σεπτέμβριο, σύμφωνα με τον Βρετανικό οδηγό Resident Advisor.

Με μήνυμά του για φέτος το “We define our future”, καλεί το κοινό να αντισταθεί στη μιζέρια της εποχής και προσκαλεί τους καλλιτέχνες και το κοινό από την Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό, να “ορίσουν” το δικό τους μέλλον, χωρίς αδράνεια και στασιμότητα.

Line up και ειδικά projects

Και φέτος το Reworks θα προβάλλει πρωτοποριακές μουσικές τάσεις και νέες πολιτιστικές ιδέες, παρουσιάζοντας καλλιτέχνες από όλο τον κόσμο, όπως το παιδί- θαύμα Nicolas Jaar από την Νέα Υόρκη, αγαπητός - όσο λίγοι - στην χώρα μας, τους Chromatics και Desire, οι οποίοι επένδυσαν μουσικά το soundtrack της ταινίας “Drive” και θα φιλοξενηθούν σε τρεις συναυλίες. Επίσης, θα έχουμε την ευκαιρία να απολαύσουμε μερικά από τα πιο καταξιωμένα ονόματα της χρονιάς, όπως τους Αμερικανούς Maceo Plex & Soul Clap, τους Ιταλούς Tale of Us, τους Γάλλους Benoit & Sergio και τον Daniel Bortz. Παράλληλα, το φεστιβάλ αποτελεί μια σημαντική πλατφόρμα παρουσίασης νέων και πρωτοπόρων Ελλήνων καλλιτεχνών που θα έχουν την δυνατότητα να προβάλλουν το έργο τους στο κοινό της χώρας.
