The Drobs @ Guest Mixes

Τη Δευτέρα 22 Απριλίου στις 22:00 στην εκποπή Guest Mixes καλεσμένος ο the Drobs.

Όλα ξεκίνησαν από ένα φτηνό sampler, μοντέλο των αρχών του 2000. Ο the Drobs διάλεγε ήχους από μουσικές βιβλιοθήκες και τους επεξεργαζόταν. Ιταλική και γαλλική μουσική της δεκαετίας του ‘60, σόουλ των αρχών του ’70, παραδοσιακοί ρυθμοί από τη Νιγηρία και την Αιθιοπία, βραζιλιάνικη μπόσα-νόβα… σαμπλάριζε τους ήχους και στην πορεία άρχισε να προσθέτει από πάνω πλήκτρα. Υπήρχε μία φιλική σχέση με το Γιώργο Καρανικόλα από τους Last Drive και κατά καιρούς του έφερνε τα κομμάτια να τα ακούσει. Μέχρι που μία μέρα αυτός τον προέτρεψε να τα βγάλει σε δίσκο. Ο Καρανικόλας ανέλαβε την παραγωγή, πρόσθεσε κιθάρες και φωνές και το αποτέλεσμα ήταν 14 κομμάτια μοναδικής low budget high fidelity μουσικής. Ο δίσκος είναι ένα κράμα funkadelic, ambient, soul, electronic και hip-hop ήχων, σαν να συναντάει ο Cpt Beefheart τον Madlib, κι αυτός τον Sun Ra. Οι τίτλοι των κομματιών είναι δανεισμένοι από τα κόμικς, τη μπήτνικ λογοτεχνία και τα ίδια τα samples. Η ηχοληψία έγινε από το Νικο Χριστολή στο στούντιο του στην Αθήνα, η κοπή και το μάστερινγκ στην Magnetic στη Γαλλια. Εκτός από τον the Drobs και τον Γιώργο Καρανικόλα, σε δύο κομμάτια έχει βάλει το χεράκι του και ο J-Kadillac. Ο δίσκος κυκλοφόρησε στις αρχές του 2013 μόνο σε βινύλιο, σε μία περιορισμένη έκδοση 150 αντιτύπων

H Inner Ear καλωσορίζει τον Παύλο Παυλίδη και ανακοινώνει την κυκλοφορία του νέου του album «Ιστορίες Που Ίσως Έχουν Συμβεί».  O Παύλος Παυλίδης, παρέα πάντα με τους B-Movies, επιστρέφει με την τέταρτη δισκογραφική του δουλειά, πιστός σ’ ένα επίσης πιστό κοινό, που τον ακολουθεί σαν μια μεγάλη παρέα στα live του σε κάθε γωνιά της Ελλάδας.

15 νέα κομμάτια, 15 μικρές ιστορίες που ίσως έχουν συμβεί, κάπου, κάποτε, μεταξύ φαντασίας και καθημερινότητας, μεταξύ ονείρου και πραγματικότητας. Κινηματογραφική ατμόσφαιρα, ακουστική διάθεση, μελωδίες που κολλάνε στο μυαλό και ταξιδιάρικοι στίχοι που φτιάχνουν χιλιάδες εικόνες είναι μερικά από τα χαρακτηριστικά αυτού του album. Αφηγητής η φωνή του Παυλίδη, όπως πάντα ήρεμη δύναμη, σαν βλέμμα που πλανιέται στην άκρη του ορίζοντα πάνω απ’ τη θάλασσα. Οι «Ιστορίες Που Ίσως Έχουν Συμβεί» έχουν κάτι από τη γλυκιά μελαγχολία του χειμώνα που φεύγει, αλλά περισσότερο φωτίζονται από μια γενναιόδωρη καλοκαιρινή λιακάδα, δίνοντας μια φρέσκια ανάσα γιορτής σε μια γκρίζα εποχή που όλα μοιάζουν να έχουν παγώσει.

Τι γιορτάζουμε; Τις διαδρομές δίχως χάρτη, που μπορούν να φτάσουν μέχρι τ’ αστέρια, με οδηγούς αναμνήσεις-φυλαχτά και επιθυμίες που ανυπομονούν να γίνουν εμπειρίες. Τα ελληνικά αρώματα της θάλασσας, του βουνού, των κοριτσιών και του μεγάλου καλοκαιριού. Τον έρωτα που έρχεται, φεύγει και ξαναέρχεται, αναστατώνοντας τα πάντα στο πέρασμά του όπως οι αέρηδες στα νησιά. Τις αποδράσεις με αεροπλάνα, αυτοκίνητα, πλοία και τρένα που υπηρετούν τους αιώνιους λαθρεπιβάτες, που ταξιδεύουν κόντρα στο χρόνο που τρέχει. Τις ζωγραφιές που ζωντανεύουν με το πρώτο φως και χρωματίζουν την καινούρια μέρα.  Την αγάπη που «μοιάζει με ξεχασμένο δώρο». Τη μουσική που θα μας σώσει για άλλη μια φορά.

Τη Δευτέρα 15 Απριλίου στις 22:00 στην εκπομπή Guest Mixes καλεσμένος ο Σπήλιος Λαμπρόπουλος.

 Ο Σπήλιος Λαμπρόπουλος γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα το 1974. Όταν είδε ότι δεν μπορούσε να γράψει τη δική του μουσική, έκανε το next best thing: άρχισε να γράφει ΓΙΑ μουσική. Με διάφορους, κάθε φορά, ρόλους, συνεργάστηκε με τα περιοδικά Zoo, Δίφωνο, Sonik, ΚΛΙΚ, Downtown, Glamour, Symbol του Επενδυτή, "Ε" της Ελευθεροτυπίας καθώς και το Βήμα της Κυριακής, ενώ διετέλεσε αρχισυντάκτης του Περιοδικού Ποπ&Ροκ. Παράλληλα, έχει κάνει ένα διετές πέρασμα από την τηλεόραση [ΕΤ-1) και το ραδιόφωνο [Εν Λευκώ]. Εδώ και 15 χρόνια διατηρεί μόνιμη στήλη για την κινηματογραφική μουσική στο περιοδικό Σινεμά. Για κάποιο λόγο που ο ίδιος ακόμα δεν έχει καταλάβει, του εμπιστεύτηκαν κάποτε να διδάξει δημοσιογραφία στα ΙΕΚ ΑΚΜΗ. Μετά από δύο ανέμελα χρόνια στο Πολεμικό Ναυτικό, αφού πρώτα απέκτησε την εμπειρία της εργασίας σε πολυεθνική κινηματογραφική εταιρεία, αποφάσισε να δοκιμάσει τις δυνάμεις του στο retail. Σήμερα ζει στην πόλη που γεννήθηκε και εργάζεται ως commercial manager music/movies/gaming στην ελληνική αλυσίδα καταστημάτων Public. 

Ο τρόπος με τον οποίο ενημερώνεται και ακούει μουσική έχει αλλάξει μέσα στο χρόνο, όχι όμως και τα συναισθήματα που του προκαλεί ένα όμορφο τραγούδι. Αυτός είναι και ο λόγος για τον οποίο δεν σκοπεύει να σταματήσει να πατάει το play.
