Batterie is a new label with few releases, but I think was the right time for its first compilation. Drum addicted live jazz works and not only are most of back catalogue releases with remixed EP and albums already. In Kollektion 2010 compilation included some of the finest moments of the label and not only, upcoming folk long player by Eden ‘’A Home For You’’ represented here with the opening ‘’Poetry’’ and ‘’Sing Me Something’’, two very warm tracks from Eden debut album that will be out later on april. Energie Du Verre project appears here with the bass addicted ‘’ Blues Bottom’’, lyrical ‘’ Just Another Thursday Morning’’ featuring Ursula Rucker and my fave space jazz of ‘’Ra’’ from its debut on Batterie and first release of the label back in 2008, with ‘’Sanctuary For Animals’’ remixed by Rogall from its remixed EP and their track ‘’Annalizer’’ from its debut back in 2004 remixed by Bugge Wesseltoft and one previously unreleased ‘’Sanctuarized Version’’. Energie Du Verre project , a more funky, latin and jazzy one project of Soenke Duewer, excisted here with ‘’The Big Wobble’’ from ‘’Versions, Vibes & Remixes‘’ and the latin game of ‘’Rockin' Habanera’’ and deep jazz of ‘’United Ancestors’’ from ‘’ United Ancestors’’ album back in 2008. Finally the compilation includes the great funky and dub cover of Beatles classic ‘’Back In The USSR’’ from the funky and jazzy project of Groove Galaxy that in the end of 2009 released its first EP in Batterie. The only disavantage here is the truth that is not inlcuded the big club jazz classic by Energie Du Verre ‘’Jitterbug’’ and its super brazillian deep jazz of ‘’Orquestre Video’’ on ‘’Pele Mix’’. - Dj Nova Nova Planet Radio Show
