SCENIC 001 Brunch Club - Lost In Creation (Scenic Music/US)

Brunch Club lost in creation and their result was, hopefuly for us, this great EP, deep but uplifting with euphoric guitar and gentle percsussions the same title track, deep and chilled mood in the guitarist:ed ‘’Like Minds’’, I felt little bit the Naked Music spirit in it and nordic winter chill reflection on mid tempo ‘’Old Friends’’ analogue synth:ed track. It it hard to choose which one is the best. Promicing label by Lucas Rodenbush who worked in labels such Soma, Plastic City, Yoshitoshi, Grayhound and YellOrange, Scenic will specialise in soulful deep house, nu jazz and downtempo music. - Dj Nova Nova Planet Radio Show

The Brunch Club is a collaboration between Lucas Rodenbush, Christian Hunt and Joel Starr. The EP is dedicated to Joel who passed away in 2008 after contracting meningitis while on a business trip to Brazil for his employer, a US coffee importer. It is fitting that Scenic begin their journey with this tribute to Joel – his dream was to get his music heard by the international DJ community and everybody involved in the ‘Lost In Creation’ project hopes you can find a place for it in your sets. - Kahua Promotion
