TAR 0038 Amit Shoham - No Color Lines EP (Tarantic Records/US)

Amit Shoham’s new EP is another personal highlight of the year. Despite that he based in San Franscisco Amit gots a hidden musical roots in Mediteranean sea and balearic islands. Once more he is flirting with folk sounds, while his guitar is slidding over beautiful piano strings and intelligent house beat philoshophy. Added percussions later connecting the balearic spirit with the an atlantic ocean’s aura. Pete Dafeet’s remix walking over more compicated beats, based on piano strings and delivers a dreamy deep version. Earlier this spring Amit Shomah did a magic remix on Bounce Records, in this EP Bounce Records Short Bus Kids is doin’ their remix for Tarantic, piano dissappeared, some dark keys added but the track still sounds completed.
