Mike Francis spirit is still around us. One of my fave musicians and voices ever, banded Mystic Diversions with his brother Mario and Aidan Zammit back in the beggin of previous decade. This succesful project that is moving in the fields of world, new age, balearic, lounge and chill out music is back. The album is so strictly Mystic Diversions and you don’t feel like Mike Francis worked with his partners from paradise. In Mystic Diversions sixth album you can find heavenly and Bitter:sweet piano melodies based like ‘’Angel Soul’’, ‘’Wind Of Change’’, ‘’Aurora’’ and ‘’Fallin’’ tracks deeply in deep chords, traditional horns and mediteranean percussion. Soul classics from the previous decades like Timmy Thomas ‘’Why Can’t We Live Together’’ and Massive Attack’s ‘’Safe From Harm’’ so carefully and beautifully reworked. Guitar elegias like ‘’Sommerrang’’ and ‘’Alcantar’’, spanish lullabies like ‘’Quie Piensas Corazon’’My fave moments of the album are the near by the sea magic of ‘’Chaque Second’’, the african dream of ‘’Lifestream’’ and ‘’Understanding’’ with Mike Francis on vocals.
