DPI compilations series is not only arrived in Peacelounge but started releasing a lot of them in little time. Just six months after the eleventh chapter twelve jsy arrived full of an exciting wide open minded tracklsiting. Ralph Rosenbaum dj selector ability have no limits, in DPI Vol.12 we meet cinematic moments, modern brazillian flavour, chill pieces, reggae tunes, nu jazz standards, jet lag bossa and offcource a lot of fresh sounds. The new music comes from Peacelounge, two previous unreleased tracks incuded in the compilation. ‘’Ser So Seu’’ the first exclusive track by Peacelounge, a vocal treatment of ‘’Bacaro’’ by Under Pressure, already big brazillian lounge classic of the label was a personal long time waiting release. The vocal version gives a nu attitude to the already fave track. Alison Degbe appeared here with her fresh and just out of the box ‘’The Way I Feel’’, a contemporary rhythm and blues midtempo hypnotic groove following her warm classical voice on an exciting music journey. Already coctail classics like Club Des Belugas ‘’Early Daiquiries’’ and Dephazz ‘’Mambo Craze’’ crossed by soulful and acid jazz gems by Kormac and Nils Landgren and well known love ballads get selected with enjoyable covered versions by Dynamics and Daynea Deacon, i’m sure all you will love Simply Red’s ‘’Holding Back The Years’’ by the last. But the love for the reggae don’t stop here, Tru Thoughts Natural Self selected here with his latest ‘’Midnight Sun’’ and Protassov with ‘’I Wonder’’ and african voice of Bajka. But the wonderful moments of the latest series don’t stop here. Redlounge Orchestra and HP.Hoeger with M.Lackmaier offers cinematic soundscapes to the whole release with ‘’Ennophonic’’ and ‘’El Baile’’. At last must not forget to menthion that the compilation opens and closes with two very nice covers. Bebo Best covers in a Peacelounge disco meets bossa style the KC & The Sunshine Band classic ‘’Just The Way I Like it’’ and Cecile Bredie Nancy Sinatra’s Kill Bill tune ‘’Bang Bang’’. - Dj Nova Nova Planet Radio Show
