Love new Rob Clarek’s release, as usual. ‘’Blow Your Own Trumpet’’ Original sounds great, love the funky mood over the deep chords, the latinized horn notes and the super uplifting digital bass. DK Watts on his remix gave it a deeper sence, lat night attitude and US West Coast geographical position. Soft acidic and percussive ‘’Sidewinder’’ sounds closer to the dark hours of the day, and ‘’Recce’’ like an extension of the previous tracks for the after hours sessions. ‘’Open Your Hat’’ is my second love on the EP, feel an midnineties Deep Dish sound around it. The EP closes with a really fllor calling bouncy groove, ‘’Lucid Reality’’ comes in my mind side by side to Random Soul tracks and New Mondo deep house and tech house floor tweaks. - DJ Nova, Nova Planet Radio Show
