With impatience and delay simultaneously we are welcoming this year the eighth release of the favorite ‘’Relax’’ series. Relax 8 recorded during the summertime on the Balearic and Mediterranean paradise of Mallorca. The atmosphere is totally lazy under the sun when the chilled organic grooves like classic Balearic tracks ‘’Entspannt am Strand’’, ‘’Estrada Do Sol’’, ‘’Sunny Side Up’’ and soft percussive soul chilled funk ‘’Natural Groove’’ are appeared among the more than ever lay back deep house that meet nu disco this time, beach house and poolside dance moments of the siesta to sunset part of the release. On siesta to sunset CD included also a collaboration with Manu Delago on ‘’Mono Desire’’ on a RELAX Mix, a totally classic Blank & Jones chilll out soundcolor. This years’s collaboration with the French vocalist with Coralie Clément on the cover of ‘’Surround Me With Your Love’’ from their yearly ‘’Milchbar’’ compilation included, on dance Summer Mix also. The clever early house inspired bassline makes a lot sense on the space out ‘’Time & Space’’ and warming up sound of ‘’Sundance’’ offers a breathless beauty while the retake on Afro Medusa dance classic sound more fresh than ever. Highlight on ‘’Relax Eight’’ is the new cover and the Remix by German nu disco mastermind Satin Jackets on 1984 Mike Francis ‘’Survivor’’, one of the best classic dance tracks that I heard ever. The more I hear the more I like… The project wants to completely satisfy us, the release is full of extra tracks on previous unreleased versions.
