Gallo - Remember Τo Forget *
Honestly, I don’t like the fact that artist’s releases see the day of light at the same time. I wanna deeply enjoy the first one before my ears get be ready to hear their next steps. But Gallo’s releases are definitely an exception and the key on his ‘’Remember Τo Forget’’ and ‘’Orange Stripe’’ releases is the track called ‘’Faron’’. This EP the sound is delivering a total #BalearicForYou sunset experience as the only uptempo moment, Clandestino Remix on the same titled track, is moving over an ethereal percussive Balearic disco rhythm and old school-laden magic, breakdown and alluring African spirit. Gallo’s masterpiece ‘’Faron’’ included on an Ambient Mix by Fabrizio Mammarella which offsets the Balearic acid of his Slow Motion Records 12’’. Manuel Göttsching philosophy (and we know how much Italian’s love him) meets a Jam & Spoon calling, to follow their trance, what a Remix. On the side of the Originals with ‘’Ebrezza’’ Gallo offers a reminiscent of classic Café del Mar vibe experience, an African flame and hidden world music spirit. On ‘’1986’’ the sound is filming the past under the 24 hours open eyes of retrowave and synthwave. In the end, the opening title, the main tune, is moving over a soft percussive rhythm which is taking back in the 70’s days of private hotel parties and one dub fusion of keys and more emotive synth passages.
