Unhurried and unabashedly laid-back, like the sunset scenery on Norderey Island that you can see on its cover, this years compilation ''Milchbar 12'' offers another masterful fusion between their latest releases and euro-centric favourites. The contrast in mood throughout makes for a well-sequenced compilation which includes all their recent digital and compilation's singles like their Café del Mar Ibiza classic ''Desire'' remixed by The Swan And The Lake Remix, ''High Fly'' and Fiest cover ''One Evening'' that makes a lot of sence already. You'll find plenty of recent favourite tunes of mine like Ambala's ''Sergios Theme'', Copenema's ''Nada Mais'' and Cassara's Remix on their ''Feel Like Makin' Love'' cover, unknown - at least to me - pop hooks like Sixtine''s 'summer' ''L'exactitude'' 'madnees'' and J.O.Y's nu-disco ''Into the Night'' and Ibiza (Trumpet Man's ''Sand & Senses'' which reminds me Chris Coco's Remix on ''Amborisa'') Balearic (Franco De Mulero & Blank & Jones collaboration on ''Vuela Alto'' which looks like new Blank & Jones love affair) and Mediterranean (Osvaldo Carreira's ''Balkanic Sunset'' which characterised by the Spanish guitar technique than an Adriatic sunddown view) margins. The compilation closes with ambient soundscapes, especially on the last track Chris Coco's ''A Suitcase Full Of Stars''.
