Gallo - Small Things EP *
Gallo on his latest ''Small Things EP'' not only does it speed up the tempo it upgrades its sound, but without escaping the principles of his sound. On same tilted and opening track his mellow synth aural design, gently expanded on classic chilled soundscapes, exactly to the point that makes me admire him, as never sounded like copy the past or offering a b stock sound of today chill out digital pseudo genre providers. These small things are big ones and Balearic. ''Flensburg'' is a remapped take on exotic ancestral drum rhythm that acid house never succeded to merge on its early Balearic extension. Intergalactic landed synth-pad-ology probably for night sky watch, play and mix than a sunset future favorite spin. ''Vortex'' that already played on my ready to go to the university 17 years old Nova Planet Radio Show looks like the one that wins me the most after the first plays. Its extroverted semi-acid Balearic disco and deep house undifinied genre has one of the most beautiful keys that heard this year so far. Extroverted and introverted at the same time evolved beyond its early Gallo references into a Mediterranean electronic beauty. The Vendetta Suite Microbes Remix on the main title has an early nineties trance escapism on its start and moves into keyboard euphoria that moves around Jean Michel Jarre, DJ Dag's San Fransisco forms and Cream's night reminiscent. Balearic Gabba Sound System' Social Acid Distance Remix on the same track is another deeper affair that will not light up your dance floors but instead of this will satisfied your audience and listeners while its the most Balearic hour of the day.
